Intraductal Papilloma is the commonest benign breast lesion, involves women of all age.
A case of intraductal papilloma associated with foci of atypical ductal hyperplasia. Microscopically, its a well circumscribed intraductal proliferation comprised of arborising fibrovascular core lined by outer myoepithelial and inner luminal cells. It may be associated with other benign lesions like usual ductal hyperplasia, apocrine metaplastic change, atypical ductal hyperplasia or ductal carcinoma in situ. Basal markers like CK5/6 and p-63 can help in distinguishing DCIS from papilloma.
